Our mission is to provide targeted and timely support to families living with childhood cancer. We are so very proud that the vast majority of support is delivered to families within 24 hours of us receiving a request for support. In these difficult times the majority of our support is assisting with the increasing cost of travelling to and from the hospital by providing fuel vouchers and Uber travel vouchers for families who do not have their own transport.

Cost of parking at RCH continues to be a major burden on families and our single-use vouchers allows families to exit the carpark at no cost to them, despite their length of stay. We are grateful to the Facilities and Emergency Management Dept at RCH for assisting us with discounted vouchers. We are also grateful to the Howard Mitchell Foundation for their grant enabling us to provide a further 500 vouchers to families.

Families' needs continue to inform our range of family support. Overnight stays at the LarwillApartments at RCH allows parents to stay within close proximity to PICU when their child is undergoing acute treatment, and they are unable to stay with them. Sadly however, we have received requests from RCH Social Work team to contribute to the costs of funerals for young ones who have gained their angel wings. Would you like to help us?
