Maya’s story is one of deep connection and heartfelt generosity. Meeting Abbey at the age of three, when both were undergoing cancer treatment, Maya found inspiration in Abbey’s courage and kindness. To honour her friend’s legacy, Maya decided to cut her hair—grown over many years—to donate as a wig for a cancer patient, bringing joy and hope to someone facing a similar struggle.

In her own words: “Abbey acted as a mentor, projecting wisdom, hope and absolute kindness onto everyone she approached. It is my absolute privilege to do this small act for the Abbey Solo Foundation. Abbey gave so much, so now it’s my turn to give back.” Maya also raised significant funds for the foundation, helping support families affected by childhood cancer.
