We first met Elena last year when she made an extraordinary donation of $20,000 from her late mother Claudia’s estate—the largest single contribution our foundation has ever received. This act of kindness honoured her mother’s wish to support a charity helping children and families in need.

Now, as Elena celebrated her 80th birthday at Green Acres Golf Club in East Kew, she once again chose to make her milestone meaningful by encouraging her guests to support the Abbey Solo Foundation in place of presents.
