Colorful Socks and Big Hearts

Supporting a Brave Student's Fight Against Leukemia
Christ the Priest (CtP) School recently rallied together in a heartwarming display of solidarity and support for one of their own, Ali, who is bravely battling leukaemia. Led by Principal Adele Vesty, students adorned themselves in colourful and quirky socks to raise an impressive $528.90 in Ali's honour.
Principal Vesty emphasised the significance of this initiative, underscoring the community's determination to keep Ali and his family in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. "It is important to our school community to show Ali and his family that he is never far from our thoughts and prayers, so finding a small way to do something in his name was wonderful," she remarked.
Ali's family, deeply moved by the outpouring of support, nominated the Abbey Solo Foundation as the recipient of the donations. CtP School embraced this cause wholeheartedly, demonstrating their unity and compassion through the joyous display of colourful and mismatched socks.
