Crazy Socks Day: A Community’s Show of Support
Colourful Socks, Big Hearts
In a display of solidarity and fun, the students at Christ the Priest (CtP) School recently participated in Crazy Socks Day to support their classmate Ali, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. The school community united to show Ali and his family that they remain in their thoughts and prayers during this challenging time. The event was marked by a cheerful sea of vibrant and mismatched socks, bringing smiles and laughter to everyone involved.
Ali’s family chose to donate the funds raised—$528.90—to the Abbey Solo Foundation, and the school graciously supported their decision. Additionally, CtP will donate 50% of the proceeds from their upcoming annual Art Show to the foundation.
These initiatives demonstrate the power of community and the joy of supporting one another, turning small acts of kindness into meaningful contributions. We are deeply grateful to the CtP community and proud to witness their heartfelt gesture.
