Jenny’s Unwavering Spirit: A Beacon of Generosity in the West

Jenny’s generosity and volunteerism are legendary in the West. From rattling collection tins for the Salvos at the ‘G’ and Bunnings (often for 8 days on end, 6.30am – 6pm), to cutting kilos of onions for every one of our BBQs, Jenny is always present. While cutting all those kilos of onions by hand is a feat in itself, Jenny also buys the onions out of her own pocket, and she has done that for years!
Jenny has been part of our story since we began, along with her daughter Carla. Her grandchildren Ella, Losana, and Willow are also part of our Youth Committee, continuing Jenny’s generosity of spirit and care for those in need across generations. She inspires us all.
