Maya’s Big Hair Chop: A Decade in the Making
Maya Donates Her Hair and Raises Funds to Honour Abbey’s Legacy
Maya, a young cancer survivor, is preparing to cut and donate 46 cm of her hair—a decade-long journey—to create wigs for cancer patients in need. She has already raised over $6,000 for the Abbey Solo Foundation, hoping to support families affected by childhood cancer. Reflecting on her friendship with Abbey, Maya shared, "Abbey showed me that even the smallest of girls can be the bravest." Maya’s hair will be cut on October 28, and donations remain open to support her inspiring endeavour and the foundation’s mission to assist families in their cancer journeys.
