Honoring Harold Mitchell's Impact on Families Facing Childhood Cancer
We were deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Harold Mitchell in February 2024. As a titan in both business and philanthropy, the support of the Harold Mitchell Foundation touched countless lives, including ours at the A+ Foundation.
The Harold Mitchell Foundation's grants in 2022 and 2023, totaling $19,925, empowered us to extend support to families facing childhood cancer. The first grant, $9,925, addressed practical needs like parking, funeral costs, and accommodation at Larwill apartments.
The second grant of $10,000 further supported families by providing parking, fuel, and Uber travel vouchers for hospital visits. Harold Mitchell's legacy of generosity and compassion continues to inspire us as we honor his memory and carry forward his vision.
